True love, in this world,'tis difficult to find
But being alone, can be harder still,
Having some another, it sure eases the pain,
But is it something everlasting, or fleeting still,

Desperate as we are, do we grasp at strands,
Do we delude ourselves, or settle for less,
How long can one give and give,
How long can one not expect anything in return,


We are all humans still,
All with follies and weaknesses still,
We try to be perfect,we drink the pain,
But is that really true love,

How long can one go on like this,
How long can one wait for reciprocation,
Its not about right or wrong, reasons or time,
Love is not rational,to be solved by logic by us.
