We build wishes and dreams, just like castles on a ocean shore
With its many rooms and towers, like one's heart with its million hopes
In our haste and pride we forget, its all too close to the waves
And it all comes tumbling down, like the castle in the tide's wake
All we are left with are pieces, like millions of tiny pebbles

How does one go on, how does one still believe
The castle may be gone, but the builder still breathes
And while he was hasty and suffered, his heart truly repents
He rebuilds his castle, and waits and hopes and prays
That someone up there will smile, and his dreams like the castle shall rise again..
